Women's Biology - Vaginismus

I just recently learned about Vaginismus and had no idea such a thing existed because honestly the cause of it is just sad. So this blog is not really supposed to be informative and im more so giving my opinion on the topic. Vaginismus is when u aren't able to control vaginal muscles and they r just tense making intercourse and even inserting a tampon hard and painful. The sad thing is this occurrence is very common amongst Muslim women and girls because many they are taught to cover up in front of men. This can cause for women to fear their own body and have shame for their bodies, which is the root cause for Vaginismus. Now I need to specify that not every Muslim household is extrem when it comes to women covering up, I am saying this as a Muslim woman who was not taught such a thing. I feel very sad that people use religion to teach girls shame and this is definitely the case in some muslim households. Now just because of them women are having a harder time with fertility and even their periods as if they didn't already face difficulties in society. I hope that there can be much more awareness regarding Vaginismus and that this extrem ideal of teaching girls to fear their body stops. What r ur opinions on this?
