FRRRRR its nice to have a character you can just hate. Not everyone needs a tragic backstory. Some people are just evil
i usually hate good characters i like evil characters more bcuz i usually relate 2 them nd their mission 2 b evil

If youre writing a villain for a cartoon then sure, but for a more serious show theres other ways to make a villain without some tragic backstory. Like they were manipulated or fell for some kind of propaganda, which is different and interesting, but it also makes them seem a little pathetic, which not everyone wants

real, we need more villians that just bad for no reason. No backstory. Just a character that one day woke up and and decided that violence is the way >:)
