I lwk need help on some mp3 players

Okay so, ive been really researching on what mp3 player i should buy since they're stuff called DAP and audio files like wav. I've been trying to look at some mp3 players that don't use wifi, like a old iPod, and is just mainly focused on music with good sound quality. 

Since I have a android id figured that I should get one with a micro sd card to put music into, and I really think that it would be easier than using a computer. I also been looking at wired headphones since yk (cant have good sound quality without quality headphones) and its hard to decide on which one to choose. Either a Sony brand or apples wired ear buds.

Anyways, I wanted to get one since my school banned phones and I dont really want to buy a subscription to any streaming service. Plus the new environment of being in highschool makes me feel kinda bored. 

That also leads to the ban on certain websites and some music videos on YouTube that my district has. This causes me to listen to songs ive heard over 100 times and with artists I dont really listen to often. Anyways, with the restrictions id figured to get a mp3 player, some of my friends are using them soooo why not?

This lead me down in a rabbit hole that I could easily get out of but i prefer the people's recommendations on these devices and also makes me more knowledgeable so I can get other people to get one too.
