the best type of music

I'd say my music taste is pretty varied..

pop, kpop, jpop, emo, grunge, metal, industrial rock, goth, whatever the smiths is,, I think I even have country in my playlist tbh. 

But throughout all the various music and style phases I've been through, I'd have to say the best would be grunge. Like, specifically the unc typa grunge... I like unc music ! The kind your dad or uncle would play on long roadtrips, or while lounging in his chair. Im talkin stone temple pilots, nirvana, local h, red hot chilli peppers... 

There's just something about that genre that feels so comforting and easygoing. Idk how to explain it but, when I listen to different musics I like doing a little dive into what 'type' of music it is.. like the style it's attached to.

Example, like.. listening to my chemical romance, that's emo, or listening to ayesha erotica, that's trashy y2k -- maybe even bimbo. Then after diving into the music, I look at the style, the outfits, and I try to wear it on me so that people can be like "oh she likes emo music ! Just like me ! One of us !!" And I can feel like.. YES IM PART OF YOUR GANG !!! HELLO !!!!! WE'RE IN THIS TOGETHER !!! and it just makes the whole alternative experience more fun because I get to dress up and find people like me and WE BOND !!!

but listening to grunge or being grunge feels really natural to me. Not that I'm a emo poser or goth poser or whatever but grunge is just so easy to wear. Slap on some messy eyeliner, ruffle your hair, dress like an unc, DONE ! you're basically Kurt Cobain BAHAHAHAHA

but like.. not saying that other styles and genres are performative or wtv. It's fun to dress in different styles and express my different interests !! Grunge is just something that I always find myself going back to when I'm in between interests. Its really who I am ^_^

But on the topic of rock and stuff. I really like rock ! It feels so nice knowing that in this community you can just be yourself and like bum around haha. Like idk how to say it but other genres of music, specifically pop or kpop feels very overwhelming in the sense that in order to thrive in that industry you have to act a certain way or do years of training and suffer and FREAK OUT and be pretty and uphold standards. But in the rock industry, it feels like any1 who's cool goofy and entertaining to watch would eventually find an audience. And I like that ! 

Sooo in conclusion.. I have no conclusion BAHAHAHAHA. I love grunge, i love rock.. I really hope I don't become an overly religous middle aged mom who hates fun. I really hope I don't become a mom🥹
