Hair Dye..?

How does one dye their hair when they have strict parents..? Let me rephrase that actually, My parents let me dress how I want but won’t let me get piercings or dye my hair. I’m also scared because I don’t know the first thing about hair dye and don’t want to damage my hair. It’s a big change going from black hair to let’s say.. bright pink hair. OH AND ILL 100% GET BULLIED FOR IT TOO. Any tips are appreciated I want cool hair!!!!

It's not the color that damage the hair, but bleach. If your hair is very dark, the first bleach will be a sort of ginger. But you can do it in several rounds to avoid damaging it too much. And always start with the lenght, the roots closer to the head are hotter and activate the chemicals so it's much quicker.
Do hair treatments several days before the bleach and don't wash your hair at least 2/3 days before, to protect the scalp.
AND VERY IMPORTANT, always do a patch test with every hair color, at least 48H before dying hair, you could have an allergy and a very severe reactions to it.

I also dyed for the first time my hair magenta pink like 2 months ago, it was so much fun, good look with it !!!! \( ^ v ^)/

kind of a big sister tip here, you gotta start SMALL!

get just a strand of ur hair from like around your neck area dyed, thats what i did the summer after middle school ended so it was both small and its not like i was in school to get in trouble with any dress codes ^^ (it doesnt seem like much but it looks nice if u tie ur hair up)

it shouldnt damage ur hair much since its small, i suggest going to a hair salon or asking your mom for help

then just SLOOOOWWWLY get more strands of hair dyed, what i did was: one strand from the very back, another strand from the other side so its symmetrical, then all of that underside, then i got a little strand from my bangs then i just did all of my hair..

--if they are just against hair dye and wont budge; GET EXTENSIONS!! you can do cool colors or raccoon tails and its not a commitment so u can just do whatever you want

First off, don’t care about other opinions at school. They’ll live ! If they hate, they’re only hating bc you’re badass. Secondly , the only way to get a strict parent to stop being strict is to just start doing whatever you want. My mom said I couldn’t get an eyebrow piercing and I used my money to get it anyways like the next week🙏🏾.!! She’ll literally get over it , and same for dye but she dosent care about me dying my hair. When I started I kinda sorta just told her like “I’m gonna do this “ and she had no choice but to go along with it once it was done. Be sure to bleach your hair blonde first with developer and the bleach at any hairstore, so the color will pop more.
