I started drawing after my mom forced me to do so, but continued because it was mentally stimulating and a great outlet for my creativity - the latter continues to motivate me. I found my art style through a very lengthy process of combining specific artistic aspects of media I’ve enjoyed over the last 17 years + techniques of artists I like (line weight, specific color usage, shading, etc etc). Word of advice for the last question though, an art style is meant to be the most convenient way for you to translate an idea or object into drawing. That one aspect is what makes art styles develop naturally and weigh less on the mind; there’s not much of a point in forcing yourself to develop an art style when it’s inconvenient for you since it’ll just restrict your creative flow
Indeed you don't have to develop an artstyle but its good to have one so people know who made the art. works like a signature.

Ah I didn’t mean to say you don’t have to develop an art style, since everyone has one haha ^_^ What I meant is that you shouldn’t force yourself to draw in a specific way (ex: someone who naturally leans towards cartoons but forces themselves to draw in an anime style) since it will burn you out quicker and stiffen you. Hope that sounds clearer :)
