am i an asian fetishizer

 hello, my name is granger peetersburg, and i wanted to share an experience of mine that may seem a little weird. 

basically, i am a fujoshi! i love BL, and always have been a LGBTQ+ supporter (in secret), i also suffer from a bit of body dysmorphia. but - for some reason, i get a bit icky when my sister suggests i watch american BLs or gay content. before you get the wrong idea for what im about to say, i AM black—just mixed. so, my sister said i should watch this one show / movie starring black gay men (i forgot the title and what it is even about), and she also told me it was a bit sad!

personally, i kind of hate sad stuff and queerness in america. the way they portray it and stuff is really weird, plus, i already knew since it was going to be black men in there, it was going to be sad because apparently being black means to be in despair 3000% of the time.

i grew up with a lot of asian stuff, and my interest in BL started with gacha life, then progressed. soon, i started to watch KBLs, JBLs, and Thai ones, too. so, my roots are deep in the asian productions. im pretty reluctant to switch anyway, so i said i wasn’t going to watch it and instead mentioned a show i was watching—pornographer. she called me an asian fetishizer, and said people are going to think i am one.

personally, my taste is very far from asian people. maybe i am? i dunno. i read a lot of gay books that takes place in america or in other countries and doesn’t deal with asia or asians at all. plus i love red, white, and royal blue, maurice, and tons of amazing american and other cultures’ short films. but if i am watching something like a show or drama, its 100% going to be asian.
