my mac might be fucked

I'm actually freaking tf out- I have uni work due very soon but my mac had just randomly started glitching tf out with masive pink stripes glitching across the screen and it's been completely unusable for days- 

I've booked a session at the apple store to get it fixed but I'm so scared bruh my laptop is my LIFE
