Drama in JROTC (help bruv)

Okay overall today was so assss and in context I'm in JROTC and the commander of the color guard inspection team so I have to lead and communicate to my teammates. THE ISSUE is my ex friend and used to have a hard crush on him and it was bad like really bad. And before all this I used to flirt and me and him would get hella close and say love you for a couple months and hang out each other most of the time. But ever since he got a rise from the ranks he got fuckin cocky and we grew distant. And today I had to yell at him since not only he was messing around but was really not locked in and I was close getting yelled at by my instructor and the colorgurd commander and FYI i did not pick this team so is already awkward enough. And him and his glazer which I don't wanna name drop got under my skin atp is so bad and I get blamed for me ME FJBFJDW HELP PLZ
