I don't wanna be THAT person butttt☆{rant}☆

I'm emo, I feel weird saying it, but I'm emo, I listen to emo music, so therefore I'm emo, I also dress emo. 

I know emo is a music based subculture, I know that, and I know and don't expect emos to "dress" emo every second of the day. But

I've had a couple freinds, and people from my school say, I'm emo, I'm goth blah blah blah, like this one girl, she wears a tail, rainbows, u could kinda call her style idk gay, I don't mean that in a homophobic way, I mean that in a trying to describe u way, but she was like yeah I'm goth, emo and scene, and I was like oh cool, even tho she dosent dress like it. Like I know u can dress however u want and still be emo ect. But it does help, and if u js go around saying that ur emo/whatever other music u listen to and u dont dress like it, except ppl to not rly believe u or care. Bc like u definitely can, but that's js like saying a slick back pony tail pink palf puff hoodie girl listens to emo music, like she definitely can good for her, but if u dont dress like it, people won't believe u, at least not right off the bat, which, u don't need them to, but it does help 

Again, with my point,  I have a freind, and he dresses emo, and I just kind of assumed, he listens to emo music, no he does not, not at all, he dosent even like it, and he still claims the title emo, likeeeee ugh. Again I dont wanna be that person but I js feel like if ur gonna basically claim something,  u should at least listen to it/dress like it. Anyways jesus loves u byee
