I feel like media is so dull now

This might just be me but I feel like media nowadays is just so dull. I'm not very old so I obviously don't know how super old media was, but even when I was young, like toddler age, I just feel like everything was better. To me, every year that passes just gives us more and more generic or boring media. If you look at media from the 2000s or 2010s compared to the 2020s, the difference is huge. Now, I'm not saying that all media now is bad, but I just feel like its not as good as it used to be. Let me know your thoughts on this
