At least for me it is. I've wanted to complain about this for a while, and it just is kinda sad because this is supposed to be a little corner of the internet for us to chat with, but I've had this account for a few months and not anyone has friend requested me at all. And even if I go out of my way to add people, and I reach out, they don't respond either. Its just crazy to me because I had a account back in April and I was doing great, I had a lot of friend requests and everything. But I wanted to restart so I made a whole new account, but its been really dry and disappointing. I just am confused on why it seems like its had a downfall. Or the whole idea of Spacehey is to be social and have new friends, but really its quite the opposite. just makes me sad. Can anyone else relate to this?

A lot of people can relate, i had a few friends here, ill like to say, that i played games whit a few times, and talked ofc - but it just slowly decaded away and i mean, thats how many if not all online friendships go.
I use spacehey to blog about stuff, comment and add to the community, and make changes to my profile, thats all really, it would be nice to have a friend but most of the people i talk to end up not using spacehey after a while so...
Yeah, dont hurry into it, just because its a social media doesnt mean you will make a lot of friends, it means you will be social-

I've had this account since 4 years ago and honestly it feels like that for certain periods of time.

honestly yeah, i can relate to this a lot... spacehey feels way quieter now and it gets discouraging when people don’t reply, restarting an account makes it even harder too

I see spacehey more as blogging and such, and maybe chatting on forums. I joined this year waaay after the hype started around 2022, so that's prob why nobody talks here. I value irl friendships more than online, me personally, but I'm sure you'll eventually find a few good friends on here :D I see ur not one to reach out first, but maybe someone will adopt u into their friend group? Yes of course! I value friends irl more than online too, but I like having friends online too because I feel like none of my friends irl really have the same interests as me. But I totally get it! Thank you!
