Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous Season 1 - 4 thoughts.

Moving away from Kirby for a bit, since there are 100 episodes, I figured I'd share my thoughts on Season 1 - 4 of Camp Cretaceous cause I just finished it last week.

This show starts out ROUGH! I really had to push myself to finish the first 4 episodes of Season 1 because the characters are so bad! Every episode involves someone being outright stupid and annoying, causing trouble for no reason. Darius, Kenji, and Brooklyn are easily the most annoying and awful characters in the show. Sammy and Yasmina are fine. They have their quirks, but isn't outright annoying. Ben is a bit over the top with his cowardice and doesn't get much development in the first season and befriends a baby Ankylosaurus named Bumpy, but from Season 2 and onward, he becomes the best character in the show. Ben is awesome and lovable, as is Bumpy.

Season 1 takes place during Jurassic World and the fall out of the Indominus rex escaping and the kids getting left behind. Season 2 and 3 takes place after the park's been abandoned, and season 4 takes place on a different island. Season 3 also goes into the beginning of Fallen Kingdom.

The action set pieces are pretty damn good, it's the characters and plot that's a mixed bag. The action can get intense, even for a kids show. It's also not afraid to shy away from death even if it's not explicitly shown. You know people are killed and eaten. As I said, out of the 6 main characters, 3 are awful while the other 3 range from inoffensive to awesome. Ben being the awesome one. That said, the ending to season 4 was shocking, and I can't wait to see how it plays out in season 5. Kenji is my most hated character in the show, but I look forward to him in season 5 since he's heavily involved in the twist.
