22 dec 25 - takeoff 🛩

i'm in the car on the way to the airport now. my brother and his wife just had their baby a bit under a week ago and we're visiting them for christmas. exciting! i'm an uncle now ☆

the day before yesterday i met with a friend from high school. he goes to college in another state, and he's almost done. he just has to finish a paper and then his creative writing thesis. we went out to eat and did some thrifting - i'll post pictures of what i got later if i figure out how. i forgot the flannel i got at home though :(

it was fun seeing him... i like going out. yesterday i did nothing at all. and today it's plane time. i'm not feeling much on the surface, but i'm pretty sure i'm nervous. i've flown a couple times before, i'm more worried about my stomach getting upset

i'm excited to eat at the airport though! i'll take a picture of whatever i get. maybe i'll post about the hotel - there's going to be a pool!! i'm so excited, it's been so long since i've swam
