its my favourite video game of all time its an rpgmaker game made by the independante studio Astralshift it is horror/cute psychology themed and an aventure puzzle game plus it have multiple endings including a secret one
you woke up somewhere and you cant remember your own name, you look into to huge mirror on the wall but you cant even see your reflection .. why ? but throught the glass something is shining on the ground, you look down and ... (go play it :) )
the classic version of the game is free (on itch.io) and the remake is on steam

a masterpeace i played recently and i really liked it as the previous game its an psychological horror aventure puzzle game its kinda like undertale with resident evil camera shot for short and the graphics are gorgerous in my opinion this game is about a girl going on an urbex in a school and somehow seems connected to it

I don’t think a lot of people know this one since it’s a Russian game but it’s called Tiny Bunny. The art style is really good and the story is pretty interesting. It’s an episode divided game and i think the last episode just came out. Ppl say itself bad tho….
There was this one game that I used to play on dads Xbox 360 when I went to go visit my sisters. It was called grabbed by the goolies I think and I'm not sure if it has actually been forgotten or just never talked about.
Anyways the started with two main characters walking in a storm and they take shelter in an abounded house and the house ends up being ran by this evil scientist. To beat the game you have to deafest all the monsters in each level and find the other main character that was kidnapped.
I never finished the game but I remember getting close. Plsss lmk if yk this game.
Not forgotten or abandoned, but never really talked about. I love the Dead or Alive series. DOA 3 was one of the first video games I ever played. Is the plot beautiful & perfect, the best thing since sliced bread? Absolutely not. But let me tell you what, high school me was locked IN on DOA 5 bc I had nearly everyone's moveset memorized, even the characters I didn't like to play as. My first cosplay was Ayame. I don't have many movesets memorized anymore, but I still destroy my opponent every time I pick the game back up lol.
HII!! So my favourite videogame ever since I was a child is Pokepark, a Pokemon spin-off that was made for the Wii in 2009! I think it's one of the first Pokemon games ever to be made in 3D, and you get to play as a pokemon in a world where there are no trainers, kinda similar to Pokemon Mystery Dungeon! There's also a sequel, Pokepark 2, that was also made for Wii in 2011 and I love it even more than the OG game. Ik Pokepark is considered to be a bit childish by a lot of fans, but honestly I love it regardless as it's a beautiful and very underrated game <33
When my dad first got me a 3DS when I was little I loved playing this game called Pinkie Pie’s birthday party I no longer have my 3DS nor do I have the game but I made some really strong memories with it and I would honestly revisit the game again if I could.
Juan Amaro has made a few games on the mobile App Store and I honestly really like them! They are some that are mainly story oriented/Visual novel while others are more interactive games and stuff. They are free for the most part and the storylines are so good. My personal favorite is Bbirthday and right now they are working on their newest game named Sticker Mirage one of the visual games. The interactive ones can be a bit tricky sometimes but they deserve more credit so I hope anyone reading this gives one of their games a try.
rhythm game for the sega dreamcast with both 60s big band and 00s Y2K vibes! you play as a suave news reporter in space competing with other stations for reports and and have to dance against aliens!
not exactly forgotten or abandoned but i want to say super mario brothers 2 the lost levels just because they gave bowser a brother there and ended up doing NOTHING with him so he's now faded into obscurity even moreso than the game i am also obsessed with that aforementioned brother i need nintendo to give me the rights to him right now
it's not niche or anything but ive been into guitar hero l8ly and its not as popular as it used 2 be.. i luv it its so simple and fun but its hard 2 access because its only on some older consoles and like, arcades.
Amazing Island! You draw your own 3d monsters and play minigames with them. It was a gamecube game and felt pretty ahead of it's time back then. I may or may not have made a giant dick monster with balls for legs :)
OHOHOHO you wanna talk obscure ? I recommend The Void, such a strange and confusing game, i love the esoteric and it called me ! I believe its 2 bucks on steam right now too :p
