Job interview nerves

Hello internet (spacehey) !! Life is a funny thing you know. Two days ago, I posted a blog where I concluded that the only way to upgrade and expand my oh so very important (to me) wardrobe is to get a job. After a long time searching only to get ignored or rejected, there's been a change !! Yesterday, a restaurant contacted me to ask me for an optimal interview day and time !1!!!1!!1!!

Usually I'm a pessimistic person so my first thought was "it's just an interview, I probably won't even get hired". And while that's definitely true, an interview is also A BIG OPPORTUNITY !! I'll be optimistic just this once. To be honest, I AM a bit nervous; I've never been to a job interview before and I'm pretty anti-social. But I NEEDDDDD this job so badly. I've gotta step a bit out of my comfort zone if I want to survive my incoming adulthood.

If anyone has any like tips on how I should handle this feel free to comment !!!!!

Hi internet stranger!

I struggle with interviews as well, (not just interviews but any speaking to a stranger). What helped me a lot was to expect the worst possible outcome (I run over the CEO on my way there and they sue me for several millions or something like that) and mentally prepare for it - that way, anything that happens is better than expected and a lot of stress just disappears. It may not work for everyone, but it helped me, so I just thought I would share.

Good luck on your interview!!! <3
