camcorder help

HELLO!!! i recently got a parasonic camcorder! i'm not too sure how to connect it to my laptop to transfer possible videos over? it requires tapes (which i dont have) so im not sure if i need something that can transfer the tapes to my laptop. 

i'm still trying to figure out how to charge it (i have the ac adapter but not anything that connects it, trying to buy something that'll HOPEFULLY charge it). any help would work!! thank you!! i'm kinda tech illiterate when it comes to stuff that isn't laptops & phones so i apologize if this stuff is like.. surface level information. i couldn't find anything online <:~(
