Inaccurate stereotypes

(Putting this in the sports category because CHEER IS A SPORT, you're not allowed to say otherwise) I find it really ironic that I'm alternative while being a cheerleader, but also half the cheer team is alternative people. Really none of us fit the 'skinny blonde mean girl dating the quarterback' stereotype. Firstly, none of us are blonde (the only natural blonde dyes her hair bright colors), and we don't even cheer for football. Basketball is still pretty cool though, other than being scared for my life because we don't have enough space to stand safely while cheering on our team. But I get along more with cheerleaders than anyone else in my school, and I thought that'd be the last group of people I get along with. It is kinda fun to tell people I'm a cheerleader though because they will totally get the wrong idea.
