About my book, Flowers Of Northern Russia

Hey you, yes you. Have you been looking for a new lesbian story to read with a diverse cast, a witty narrator and a good balance between fluff and angst? Then you're in the right place. Let me tell you about the book I'm writing (that could potentially get a VN spinoff) called Flowers of Northern Russia.

It's the early-mid 2000's in Norilsk, Russia. It's cold and dark, as always. Una Maguire (17F) has been juggling problems at home, at school, online and with her peers. She talks about how hard it's been ever since she moved away from Ireland, how it's taken a toll on her and her mother, and how she misses the feeling of home. She's been in Russia for 6 years and she knows she isn't going back any time soon. At school nobody understands her. They laugh at her and call her names, making fun of her for everything and anything you can think of, from the way she does her makeup to how her voice sounds to where she's from. Her grades are dropping along with her social skills. She's lonely and only has herself.

One day while walking home from school, an unusual thing happens. Miko Yamazaki (16F) runs into Una. Not literally. Actually, Miko has been keeping an eye on Una for a while now. "But you're so cool! How could people hate you? They just don't get it." She boasts and cheers, leaving Una stunned. Despite Una's efforts, Miko just won't leave her alone. She walks with her home, talking her ear off until they get to their apartment, where they just happen to live on the top two floors, their units right on top of the other. Wow. What a coincidence.

Of course, the two later become great friends, codependent on each other. They do everything side by side, like listening to music or smoking. They really are great friends. Never seen without one another.

You'll have to stay updated on here and my Tumblr to figure out more about these fun two, plus other characters I haven't revealed yet. Also, a lot of details are set to change. This story is still a fairly new idea, please be patient! Please tell me in the comments if you're interested in the story, questions, comments, concerns, anything. Give me your thoughts!

My Tumblr is @flowersofnorthernrussia if you wanna stay posted!

Thank you for your time.
