(RANT) Is it that hard to actually respect other people or to at least pretend to have empathy?

I dont know if its just people in my social circles or if everyone just suddenly forgot about everything theyve been taught in kindergarden. I thought that we all agreed that its cool that everyones diffrent or that we should think before we speak but i guess its not the case in todays society. It probably has never been the case but one can dream.

Its just mind blowing to me that we are all basically indoctrinated into being nice from a very young age by stuff like mlp but most people still choose being mean. I just cant wrap my head around it.

Everyday i hear people talking about how much they love being haters. And I just cant understand it. Why would anyone actively choose to be mean?

If you dont have anything nice to say, say nothing at all, no?
