- Before getting into the 2020 Alt/Alt-Kid subculture you need to know what it is:

2020 Alt, (which can also be known as E-kid, Alt-Kid, Bunny Hat Kid, Pandemic Alt), is an internet aesthetic & subculture that formed on TikTok during 2020 when COVID-19 became prominent and ended around 2022. (I would also like to clarify that Alt-Kid and E-Girl/E-Boy, although having similar styles, are not the same subculture, but a lot of Alt-Kids also identified as E-Girls/E-Boys/E-people.)

- Key Values:

A lot of people were extremists when it came to the subculture's values (⁠•⁠ ⁠▽⁠ ⁠•⁠;⁠) (listed below)

LGBTQ+ Positivity, DIY, Internet Culture, Mental Health Awareness, Online Identity, Self-Expression, Xenogenders, Neopronouns, and Microlabel Acceptance/Positivity, and Anti Cringe Culture. 

(This subculture's values would probably be described nowadays as "too woke" </3)

- Fashion: 

Some of the accessories included in this style are tied to BDSM culture so if you're a minor just be aware of that! •ᴗ• (will be in bold)  

Accessories - bunny hats, sanrio hats, frog hats, bucket hats, neckchains, chokers,  arm warmers, kandi, fingerless gloves, petticoats, studded belts, ripped tights, fishnets, garter belts, chains, knee/thigh-high socks, leg warmers

Shirts/Tops - anime t-shirts, graphic t-shirts, corsets, oversized shirts, oversized jackets

Bottoms - pleated skirts, cargo pants, baggy jeans, plaid skirts

Shoes - Demonias, Converse, New Rocks, Dr Martens

- Music: The music tied to this subculture is mostly Hyperpop, Glitchcore, Nightcore and Daycore (sped up and sped down), Alt Pop, and Alt Rock.
