about me and why it sucks to leave when you obviously need to

hello! my name is olivia jane (hence olijane) i am 9teen years old and i live somewhere in the world. i am a college student currently studying pharmacy but once enrolling for the 2nd semester comes—i will be shifting to psychology.

wasnt really my thing to take up pharmacy. my family is full of doctors and nurses so they aspired me to take up that path. but i wanted to help people in another way. it quite sucks to leave this course behind. i am not just leaving all the things ive learned, im also leaving friends i made (real friends that just gets me) and they are hard to leave behind.

christmas break has already started and im quite stuck on thinking about it. if i should shift courses and have to adjust again with new sets of people when THAT blessing has already been given. they have tried their best convincing me to stay but i just cant be someone that i dont want to be. i dont want to make medicine, learn about it, dispense, or be a pharmacist—i aspire to be a child psychologist to help children like who i was once. 

but that is still in works. i also want to a social worker that specializes on helping people deprived of liberty since its a huge issue and topic here where i live.

i'd love to help a lot of people in ways i can and i want. i hope that i can help myself to in making this decision. the clock is ticking and i want to make choices i wont regret.
