do you want to dress like the japanese girlies in all of the magazines? then hello, this is the right place to start your journey:) getting into j-fashion and buying the right clothes is pretty difficult - especially when you’re just starting. this guide shall help you to find the perfect clothes, regardless of the style you’re going for. what are we waiting for? lets go!

゛step 1 ⸝⸝.ᐟ⋆ - where to shop?

its pretty difficult getting brand new pieces when you don’t live in japan, thats why most j-fashion girlies choose to buy second hand! its not only easier but buying second hand clothing is really good for the environment. not everyone has a thrift store around the corner especially none with liz lisa pieces @-@ so here’s the list of where i buy my stuff from:

1. Mercari Japan

Mercari has a lot of pretty pieces waiting to find a new owner! and the best thing is - it comes directly from japan! a lot of cheap clothing is sold there. make sure to use a proxy like buyee or neokyo before your purchase! without a proxy you sadly can’t purchase from mercari jp :( and the thing is, that these proxies have really high shipping costs. thats why many people get scared off from mercari. but lets be honest now, the clothes on there are so cheap that the shipping costs don’t really matter anymore. i can make a seperate guide to buy from mercari! lmk in the comments

2. Vinted or other Second Hand online shops

Vinted is genuinely great for buying j-fashion stuff! i got my favorite liz lisa coat off vinted. the prices are also alright! vinted is the faster and easier option than mercari is! but be careful the vinted addiction is real once you start you can’t stop *-*

3. Taobao

I personally never got something off taobao but a lot of my j-fashion friends told me that taobao is also a very good option to buy pieces with good quality! make sure to use a proxy and read through the reviews carefully as there can be scams :(
