3/15/21 Short Story Short

Normally I write Sunday after I’m done playing some songs. However as I mentioned last week, I had something’s going on. This Sunday I went over to see my parents, so I wasn’t home. 

However.... Friday was my birthday. 

This marked Covid birthday number 2. Last year there were only grumblings of the virus. It blew up two days later. Here we are, one year later. My wife managed to gather up a group of friends to go bowling, which turned out to be a mess. Wait for a lane was an hour, and a lot of people not as hearing to the mask rules. So we left. Caught some dude stealing a full yard of beer, and got two free hours of bowling as we left though. 

Your friends really show through on your birthday. One said they’re going to be there, and then flakes. That kind of Shit hurts. It also does help make my decisions musically too. The trend continues. I discussed what tuning I was using in the writing process, C#, which my friend hates. He said go back to drop D, it’ll still be the same shit. This was true. 

What I am going to do this upcoming weekend is create notes for the songs, and do videos of me playing them. It’ll help out immensely. As I said... short story short.

Next week is only a week away. Two more weeks until I am saved.
