Coming out great! (Denny stop motion puppet progress pics)

*Looks down at my hands, then back up again, then down, then up* 

Woah. This project is actually turning out good! Here's the beginning progress pics of Denny. Some steps I didn't take photos of, mostly cause I forgot... But I got some!

I started with this silly little ball of foil that's inside his head. :)

Then I wrapped the foil in polymer clay and started sculpting. Tools wise I used some stuff I had lying around. Some actual sculpting tools, an xacto knife, and some kind of ball tool I didn't have a use for until now. No idea what it is or what it's called, but it worked for detailing. Here's the finished head. I think it'll look even better with color.

He's bald, unpainted, and the color of a pale Victorian child right now, but looking past that I got pretty model accurate!

After I finished sculpting the head and body (sorry, no progress pics... I forgor.) I had some delicious butter cookies! ... Just kidding, I put on Azumanga Daiyoh and started sewing. I wish I had butter cookies in there...

I got some stuff done, like the front of his jacket with buttons, and that's where I'm gonna stop for the night, cause sewing clothes for a little man is way out of my ballpark (way more than everything else lol) and I think I need to sleep before finishing it. But look at this! He's kinda naked and I still need to sculpt his darn shoes, but I posed him with one of the tools I used to sculpt his face and it made me really happy, so here it is!
