I hate telepaths. I hate them so much. Not only do they have this OP power, it is usually accompanied by some more OP powers like telekinesis and what not..
What's even worse is the whole concept of telepathy. It is invasive and you quickly lose trust in the person. You are expected to rely on their good will and you cannot even have some privacy around those people, they could be watching you any time. They invade your privacy like you never even had in the first place.
You can become source of their entertainment without even knowing.
Imagine you're just in your room, right? You are just chilling. Suddenly you get an embarassing thought. You get maybe a bit shy, bet hey, you're alone, so who cares. It is not like any one will hear those. WRONG. Randomly a telepath could read your mind, find out about it and then have top tier blackmail on you and bargain with you.
You are not safe around telepaths, you never will be safe around them. And they use their powers to convince the masses they are harmless, when they're far from it. They can control us any time and for as long as they want, could you trust that? Hell no.
Ban telepaths FOREVER. From EVERYWHERE.

I think you must emit a violent aura around yourself in a three mile radius or more that any telepath in the area suddenly feels the immense sense of danger when entering. I don't think you'll be meeting any more telepaths in the near future rest assure.
I do think the trope of telepaths being closed off cause of fear for comments like this as a trope in fiction is great. I guess a slightly more interesting way to frame a telepath is asking the question if someone's thoughts truly define their character or actions. Depending on how deep that telepath can actually see, they could walk next to someone who activly thinks about killing their boss then a month later, that boss is still standing alive and well. The person quietly quit their job and their elaborate murder scheme went along with it. Or idk, what im trying to imagine is a telepath who jumps to conclusions and makes everyone around them uncomfortable by only reading surface level thoughts. It would be ironic if the telepath is distrusted not because they read minds but because their wrong a lot of the time and keep making assumptions due to their own biases.
The other op abilities thing sounds rough. If this is about rp, (me guessing) yeah i think it should be a huge red flag if someone's trying to mind control your character without asking you for permission first. Or just instantly knowing what you have up your sleeve or appearing in the same place when you about to do something, I hate that.
