Giving my characters fun little quirks based off the media I love

I always thought it was super interesting that Ichigo from Bleach, in his pilot debut had black hair but Kubo decided to land on the iconic orange color we know and love today.

Ichigo having black hair then it being scrapped to only become canon over a decade later was so cool to me. 

I like to pay homage to this little fun fact of Bleach by giving my own character some moments here and there where his real hair color underneath the blonde dye is revealed to be raven black.
