A few days ago, my bestfriend and I had a huge fight. The topic was Kamala Harris and me being a MAGA lover but Trump hater it caused a huge rift. Fast forward to today we were in class talking about politics. She raised her hand and OUTED me in class. My petty ass decided, fine, I'll ruin it for her. I raised my hand and before I could let out a word she started calling me botched. That's when I knew we we're gonna have a war. I then went out of class when the bell rang and ratted her out to her boyfriend about her having dreams about his brother. He broke up with her and now she hates me and is spreading rumors. Am I the Asshole?

Opinions are like assholes, everyone has one but there's less than five things you can do with each one. Do with mine as you will but I vote not guilty. Sure, you had a disagreement but who gives a fuck about politics. Neither Trump nor Kamala know either of you, they're not your friends so to take a private disagreement and make it public over random people in their forties is petty. Sounds like she started it, she should've kept it private and regarded your feelings or something. All you did was retaliate. Was it mature? depends who you ask. Was it necessary? Maybe it just added fuel to the forest fire. But if the cause of the issue is politics then the actual problem is caring too much about presidents and not enough about each other.
