Hii today im gonna rant about religion because currently im mad at this topic,dont get me wrong im not mad at god or Allah or any other godly creature that you believe in,im sure if they exist they are actually good creatures but those figures are overused for awful reasons. Ill take christianity as an example because i grew up in a Christian household and i know the most about it. First there is the Bible,a book that is used to control the population, if god exists then the bible's very first version could actually be written by god but over the years people altered it to fit their own political opinions,like "if you are lgbtq+ you are going to hell" or "abortion is a sin because the baby was created by god" hell even tatoos are demonic in some versions of the bible, people just manipulate the word of god to control people's views on anything thats different from the norm,and even the parts that are actually good and might have been there from the start have their downsides,like do you really need to have it written in the bible to not kill people or your going to hell for you to know it is wrong? It honestly terrifies me how some people lack any morals and basic empathy to need a holy book to tell them that murder is wrong,also the people who send the most death threats, slurs and are the biggest bullies almost always have a bible verse somewhere in their bio,let that sink in,and dont even get me started on the church. Churches are supposed to be a place of god,while they are just a place of taking your money. Most of the priests and nuns dont even care about actually spreading the word of god, just about donating money "for god",manipulating you with a holy being into giving you your money,and even they who are supposed to get the money and have profits from it also have some weird rules that shouldnt be here in the first place,like the whole celibate thing,priests are forced to be pure for god if they want to be a priest and that is how all of the church pdf cases start,the priests cant have s€x or m@stúrb@te so they get it out on innocent children,dont get me wrong im not on the side of pdffiles but i just think that if that law didnt exist,less children would be traumatized right now. Also the rule of priests not saying anything that someone told them in the confessional is stupid,like when a father comes in and says that he was beating his 3 year old daughter are you supposed to not call the cops and let that happen?? All of the things i said are in some way related to other religions because most religions have their holy books,their churches and their manipulation from people that are willing to control others in the name of a holy being. Lmk if i got something wrong or written smth wrong since im not a native english speaker,thats it for now byee

Hmm, ima give my personal view on this (as a catholic) and say I personally believe there's a big difference between the religion and the people who use it to just spread hate and stuff.
What I kinda mean is that if you meet a bunch of rude christians for example that shouldn't really detract from your thoughts on the religion itself...
Like if some religious people are being rude to you, is it the fault of them just being rude douches. or is it the religion itself? Bc I'm pretty sure the bible would also condemn saying death threats and slurs as you mentioned, as well as those pdf cases.
At my church we personally do have donations, but it def isn't as forceful as you kinda mention your church was and more optional. But that def depends on which church you go to.
As for the parts on abortion, well i'm personally not in favour of it either, so say what you will, but for the lgbtq part I will bring up this interview with Pope Francis back when he was still alive:
"In an interview with the agency televised and published in Spanish Jan. 25, the pope had said that "being homosexual is not a crime. It is not a crime." He defined as "unjust" laws that criminalize homosexuality or homosexual activity and urged church members, including bishops, to show "tenderness" as God does with each of his children.
In the interview the pope said, "We are all children of God, and God loves us as we are and for the strength that each of us fights for our dignity. Being homosexual is not a crime. It is not a crime."
Then, he voiced an objection to that statement, followed by how he would respond to that objection, saying, "'Yes, but it is a sin.' Fine, but first let us distinguish between a sin and a crime."
"It's also a sin to lack charity with one another," he added."

I sorta agree with it but this isn't a hot take or progressive statement, just default common sense. Not much intentional offense but obviously tl;dr

If it wasn't for the communist era, I don't think the Catholic Church in Poland would be anywhere near as popular as it still currently is. Most of the rest of Europe has secularized because they could no longer tolerate the Catholic Church's many abuses and scandals. I'm not saying the Catholic Church is completely evil, but there is a massive divide between the Pope's inner circle, most remaining parisioners, and then the far-right nationalist bishops and cultists in it for money and control.
I still think Poland is in danger of turning into a Catholic version of Putin's Russia, especially since the loudest conservatives are bragging like the most obnoxious Catholics in the USA about being the "vanguard of Western Civilization".
As a pole myself i hate all of the people that rule this country,when they want to justify some terrible thing they use god to justify it and everyone believes them smh

I feel like religion, despite being the tool of control for the masses, is being constantly used by some horrible people to make them feel better about themselves, like "Ah, yes, I've hurt somebody, but I'm so sowwy
God will DEF forgive me cause I'm so sowwy" so they don't go mentally insane or smth
tbh the whole concept of after life with heaven and hell is so ugh too
