this is no hate to the music but its a wake up call for the artists. why cant you have your own identity? why does your music have to attract specific audiences from mainstream artists? your music isnt inspired by lana del rey, youve copied her entire musical identity and singing style. trust me you arent lana and lady gagas love child, your music is gagas beats and lanas style. i honestly couldnt care less who you copy but stop blatantly depending on them to get more streams if you had your own identity you wouldnt have to use such methods. Embrace your own identity. i understand that its hard to get exposure with such a judgmental generation where different is considered bad, but there are different ways to reach farther audiences. if you guys ever make it big you will be remembered as the person who sounds like whichever artist. it isnt the music thats the problem, its your way of advertisement. i js want to make it clear that i do not think music styles belong to any specific person, but these people are saying it themselves that theyre "inspired" when in reality theres nothing special. its good to have a target audience, but atp youre js looking at an artist, copying them, and trying to sell your dupe.
new gen artists and their "inspiration"
