(this is my first time writing an entry like this, and I didn't know what category to put this under but anyway)
recently I posted a few vids on tiktok of me presenting the slightest bit gothic, and I've been getting so much more DMs from dudes of all ages. im a minor, visibly a teen girl, and I've gotten DMs from men old enough to be my dad and old enough to have grandchildren asking if I have ever had a sugar daddy (3 men with grey hair in their pfps. oh hellll noooo), and messages from boys my age and younger sending me those annoying pics from tiktok comments (like that one pic of the baby staring at bewbs, pics of robin n raven from teen titans, etc). im not even that attractive, I've been visibly alternative my entire life, but the second I look a bit more like a stereotype, its like I wrote "harass me" on a sticky note and slapped it on my back oml. im so uncomfy? I've never gotten much male attention before this so idk. but I've noticed something in common that all 14 of these recent dudes have. trump/maga support in their bios or on their pfp. yuckyyyyy (I know 14 might not be a lot but for me it certainly is, especially within the span of just a month)
I think it might be some sort of loser "I can fix her" fantasy or something.
but what is it with men and wanting a goth girl in particular? and they want the serena from downtown type of goth, if they even mean goth and not e-girl, not anything else. its weird idk. like they never want an emo, or a punk and its confusing

and the thing is, if they wanted a Serena from downtown they didn’t get her character. She changed her outfit and suddenly Alex didn’t want her anymore even tho he said those clothes don’t define who she is. He literally ditched her for that and she totally clocked it bc right away she went back to her old look and distanced herself from him, which like yeah get it girlll find someone better. But the whole point of that scene was to not fetishize her, she wanted someone who likes her and not the idea of her, and those types of guys just can’t get it smh. (If u can’t tell I rlly like downtown lmao)
And I hate that “I can fix u” type mentality for ppl who aren’t doing anything wrong in general (tho the I can fix them mentality is unhealthy overall). Those conservative men should just go find some conservative woman if they just want that in the end smh. I hope I don’t run into anyone like that

Men are so weird they always have been and unfortunately they give girls the most attention from like age 11-15 I’ve gotten less attention from them as I got older (I just recently turned 18 so that says smt)
