New and hopeful

Hello! I am new to Spacehey and I'm excited to get involved with a new community! I have never really been an active member in an online community other than friends discord servers. If I was old enough I probably would have been a part of Myspace but it shut down before I was even "allowed" to have social media. I've been a Tik Tok doom scroller for too long so I'm finally cutting ties and starting fresh with a new kind of social media. 

I was born in the early 2000s and I am still fascinated with anything to do with that era and mid to late 90s. I'm looking for like minded and similarly aged (over 20) people who arent too politically and controversy driven. I like to consider myself a light hearted and open minded person who enjoys talking about hobbies and sharing love for music and art in general. 

I am also looking for people in the Metal scene who would like to either form a band or just noodle around with some instruments, I am currently in a band where we usually play Shoegaze/Grunge/anything that we think would sound cool with a heavy twist. But having a side project would be awesome! I can do hardcore vocals, I own and play many guitars/basses, I program my own drums and am currently working on my mixing skills. Doing this all alone can be a lot though.
