Recently on social media, tourists have been filming videos of the underdeveloped sides of India- in which unhygienic street food, illiterate citizens and uncongenial working/living conditions have been shown. These videos have gotten viral and soon many people have started hating on India, spreading filthy comments towards Indians and being extremely racist.
First of all, every single country has some flaw or the other. Why are all these people acting like their country is perfect? The hate is coming mostly from white people, and these people act like their own kin doesn't consist of illiterate people, or that their own country isn't unhygienic either.
India has many issues currently such as corruption, stopping them from developing and keeping up with the world. At the same time, India has also some pretty developed parts in store.
Adding to this, I think Indians have already suffered so much from many colonial chains in the past along with bigotry from their oppressors. Let's not make them suffer again.

It starts like this-
1) Someone puts a post on instagram telling about their bad experience with an Indian, it can be a bad date, cctv cam or just someone recording.
2) Meme accounts make reels about Indians, and faces no backlash and gains popularity
3) Other meme accounts start to do this.
4) Now everything think it's cool to hate on Indians cuz memes said so.
That's how hate is spread
