Istg, most of these people are just lazy, that want to put on a fricking gir hoodie, tons of kandi and baggy pants and call it scene, while listening to 6arelyhuman and so on....
Just search up scene bands, it is not hard to do that, just start with ismfof, millionaires, brokencyde and dot dot curve.
Im so fed up with this kind of people, if u relate to that, dni.

"subcultures are just for fun" is a take I see a lot that I don't really understand tbh. like dress however you want but don't claim to be part of a subculture you don't fully understand or respect. "oh I don't like the haircut" "I don't like tight clothes" "I don't like scene music" then just don't be scene??

i crash out whenever i see this i get the music thing but the hair, some peoples hair is too thick/curly and Cannot be straitened without damaging it also haircuts and wigs are expensive its also just people having fun dressing up cool calling them posers cause they cant get a certain haircut is annoying i meet a lot of people who ask about my kandi who say they really want to dress scene and can't afford it dressing alt is for sure a privilege and it's really discouraging to people just trying to particupate to call them posers and doesnt help anyone especially when alt kids get bullied for wearing scene styles we don't need people also hating from inside the community

Yes, being alt is about having fun with styles and so on, but subcultures have rules, the rule being having scene hair, and u can style it, there's tons of tutorials, u just gotta practice, one good example is rainbowfoxox on Instagram. And yes, if they dont follow the most important rule in a subculture, yes, i can call them posers

Omg this is me but with those wannabe metal heads. One time I met this girl and she said she was a metal head and I asked her what her fav band was....she said nirvana. And it's worse with ppl who r like "leave the politics out of metal!!!" Mf like 80% of metal is ABOUT the politics.. they just like the name and aesthetic but couldn't care less about the actual culture.
