Getting Started and how I found this

Talk about a random night! The endless power of my "Rabbit Hole" has resulted in me ending up here, so why not jot it down in a first blog entry? 

It all began as I was laying in bed for the evening and thought to myself "Hey, Daughter #2 asked if I had a picture of me from an old military story I told her about this morning. I bet I have one on my old MySpace still" and down the hole I went. After quickly discovering MySpace pretty much deleted anything prior to 2016 (this story and my MySpace was around 2005), I found myself reminiscing about how the internet used to be compared to modern day social media. Keep in mind, I have "disconnected" from the modern stuff a few months ago because I got tired of the general sense of doom and bitterness. 

So here I am, loving the old feel of this and the simplicity of the old days. They did an absolute banger of a job recreating the feel of things and, while I intend to stay off social media platforms mostly, I am glad I found this just to spend a little free time in my memories of days past.
