Things are soulless, cold as ice,
Eat your soul like starving mice.
Taking a soul becomes its own,
Your soul no longer yours alone.
Living with you, sharing your dreams,
Seeing your memories, watching the scenes.
From far or close, they're always there—
The ticking clock you both share.
It spins faster than you both thought,
Time’s fire is growing—both get caught.
Humans die, so do the mice,
The sun rises, melting the ice.
Your soul that is, in fire it’s lit,
Turning to ashes and remaining bits.
A burning scar, deep as a trench,
Ribcage empty—ribs on the heart clench.
Tightness remains till the end of time,
Pain knocking; on the heart it chimes.
Unless you die first, leaving a soul behind,
Its soul and yours now left blind.
Collecting dust and spiders’ homes,
Wind passes through, memories it combs.
Soul and soulless, bound forever—
In death or life, always together.
A soul and a soul is something else,
A losing game—agony yells.
Trading a piece of soul with another,
A scar that could never recover.
Finding a soul that’s worth the trade,
Splitting your soul with a dull blade.
Giving a soul becomes their own,
Your soul no longer yours alone.
Taking theirs, sewing it in,
Feeling their feelings sink within.
Two souls splitting and becoming one,
The emptiness they had is now gone.
Living with you, sharing your dreams,
Seeing your memories, watching the scenes.
From far or close, they’re always there—
The ticking clock you both share.
It spins faster than you both thought,
Time’s fire is growing—both get caught.
Humans die, so does the other,
Like a swan dying with their only lover.
The cold body remains,
The soul bound with chains.
Tugging on it to a place or a grave,
Searching for feeling—a drug they crave.
The tugging gets harder and harder,
The blood seeping is growing darker.
The soul is drying, no longer alive—
Its only purpose: to survive.
