i dont really post blogs but i wanna yap about dispatch here too (contains spoilers and i talk about a more detailed way to reach one of the endings)

i got it on friday and played it twice in a row, then once more on sunday

a run is 7-8hrs and in my opinion it doesnt get boring before you get your moneys worth

i reached both endings and played no romance throughout all three attempts, i wasnt interested in that and it doesnt matter in the long run anyway which i like

the first time i just did what i felt like and ended up with the failed mentor ending, second time i switched a few things around (who to cut/who to get on the team et) and still got the bad mentor ending

i kinda worried it might be tied to romance but it isnt!! i watched this video which details something i dont quite understand but has to do with the code and a score that has to be at 45+ for the good end to trigger

ill give you a short version on how to get the good ending here too:

choices that matter:

- watching the movie with visi

- revealing your identity after the barfight

- not cutting her (i did cut her but still managed, ill detail in a sec)

- if you cut her: "i care about you" (dunno about the other option, watch the vid:p)

- untying her

doing all those things will boost your score, doing the opposite will decrease it 

other than that the gameplay matters too, so much actually that i reached the good ending in the third run despite picking ALL the same choices in the first and reaching the bad one

actions that matter:

- you have to send her on missions, and make sure there successful. if she fails the score will decrease

- send her to training with blazer once you get the opportunity

- dont fuck up the quick time events in the barfight

- successfully hack throughout her solo attempt to get the astral pulse 

doing the opposite of those things will, again, decrease it (except for the last hacking puzzle, failing doesnt matter)

i did fail a few missions with her and cut her from the team but it was fine, you dont have to be perfect

i had a good time and didnt get bored in any of the 23hrs i played the game

the visuals are fucking baller, the music is good and i liked the voice acting

im usually the type who will dodge a 2hr movie like my life depends on it but could do 16hrs straight because the balance really worked for me

the blend of watching stuff play out, making choices, dispatching, hacking and quick time events was really dynamic and easily sucked me in, obviously enough to rerun the whole thing twice

spent 30€ and def think its a good price for what you get

voice acting, hand animation from a studio that has openly condemned AI which im sure matters to a good chunk of people and so on

i could clearly go on and on about the whole thing, it stuck with me and im excited for season 2, im confident it will be worth my momey and time again:))
