How to find environmentally friendly and cruel free tails!! (For therians, furrys, or anyone who wants one!! <333)

Everyone knows that tail keychains of foxes, wolf, and perhaps coyotes. But if you have ever looked around online you would see lots of people selling tails that say in their description that its "faux fur" but you can never really trust that. So lucky enough I wrote this to help!! Enjoyyyy!!!! <333

1. Where should you buy them? And why?

Firstly NEVER buy them from amazon, Temu, Ali express because these webs are cheap and don't ethically source their products, especially if its tail keychains. The reason they do it because its quick and easy to make, sell it, and to get lots of money. Most of these sellers on the platforms that I said earlier are based in China where they don't have proper animal protect laws.

When you are looking or shopping online for a taxidermy tail keychain I would recommend going to Etsy. Etsy is a more sustainable because it shows more visual perspectives of the product, unlike Amazon, Temu, or Ali express where they would usually use photoshopped pictures instead. 

2. How do you spot a cruel fur farm tail?

There are many ways to spot a tail that wasn't ethically sourced. Firstly the golden chain, the golden chain or clip is used widely throughout cruel fur farms which makes it the first biggest red flag, When your examining a tail make sure look out for the chain. Secondly, unnatural colors. (Usually bleached before being dyed into an unnatural color). Lastly unnaturally bulky. They are like this because of the harsh environments they are kept in before they are killed. They are kept in small cages and are not properly taken care of which lead to the animals fur overgrow and make the tail fluffier. When they use ammonia or other chemicals it too. The chemicals used can also affect the workers because when they are exposed to the toxins it can cause major health risks and can be lethal.
