Gacha life?? horrendous or pleasant?

For those who don't know what Gacha Life is, it's a game where you can make fun characters or "Oc's" (original characters), then you can take apart the limbs and tween them or animate them to make a silly clip and post anywhere. Now, what raises this question is the ways that people used to use this app; it was used to make inappropriate videos or just downright weird ones. But that horrible reputation stuck, and now anytime you type "Gacha" into YouTube or TikTok, it shows those weird videos and is the first thing to pop up sometimes. But the community has slowly started to get better, it's begun to change (At least the majority of it) so take this as you will!

All of my memories of Gacha Life were pleasant, lol. I remember making my own YouTube channel back in 2019-2020 and posting my own GLMMs. Most of the content during its peak consisted of mini movies, girls vs. boys singing battles, and mini-series. The content was never really sexual unless you specifically searched for "Gacha heat." It definitely existed back then, but the content that I remember seeing wasn't very graphic, just naked characters (no genitals, but the clothes were as skimpy as possible and made to match the character's skin colour) with the pink shadow over their faces, heavy blush, suggestive positions, and explicit text. It could be because I didn't see the worst of it 🤷‍♀️.

The presence of inappropriate content on Gacha Life is certainly an issue, and unfortunately, people now view the game in a negative light. I think because Gacha appealed so much to children and young teens, predators exploited the once-harmless features to make sexual content that the kids would most likely see. For some reason, YouTube still has some of those videos up The responsibility of removing this content 100% goes to YouTube and TikTok, and you can't fully blame the game for this.

I do remember Lunime removing the skin colour options in the clothes to try and minimize the amount of sexual content that could be produced with it, and being mad about not being able to add peach or brown accessories on my characters lmaoo. I'm glad the game is still somewhat popular and its reputation is getting better.

pleasant honestly

take this as you will bc i haven't really touched gacha life since like 2019 tbh but idk why people blame gacha life itself for the weird stuff in the community, when it's literally the COMMUNITY doing it and not the game itself.

it's kinda like blaming a piece of paper for someone drawing weird stuff on it.. Bc I mean gacha life is just a place to create stuff just like drawing apps and writing apps, are they really to blame if somebody decides "Hmm... let's make some super freaky stuff today!!!!"

It's honestly more of youtube and tiktok's fault for not taking all those weird videos and search queries down
