New here! (About me... and you?)

Hey y'all!

Some of you might have seen me posting sparsely in the forums as of late (asking for coding advice and such), but I never really said hi to you Spaceheyers! So I thought I'd introduce myself briefly. (-:

I joined this site since I really adore the old web feel of it all, I'm looking for social medias that aren't as addictive as Instagram or Facebook, where it's a slower pace and all. I've spent these last 3 days setting up my profile (which I'm relatively happy with except for some annoying details), and on that note, I have prior experience using HTML and CSS, so it's a fun project for me to tinker with!

I'm planning on going back to school next year to study something within the social sciences. Am a big fan of psychology and sociology as well as history (ancient Egyptian and ancient Chinese history especially!), so in my spare time I do some reading on these subjects. IRL I attend a book club, and I also roleplay lightly on the site. I've been roleplaying for about seven years, so it goes without saying that writing is a big interest of mine!

You can see my other interests in my profile, but here's some stuff that isn't listed: I finished (re)watching Breaking Bad today; am rewatching The Office for like the 5th time; and I picked up watching Black Mirror again! In the future I might give Better Call Saul another try, but before that I'll definitely get around to watching El Camino again.

Well, that's some stuff about me. I'm really hoping to speak to adults my age, so feel free to tell me about yourself or let me know the general culture here on Spacehey!
