My love for Harley Quinn

My love for this woman is, I think, impossible to describe properly, but I'll try my best by showing the comics/films I've seen with her.

Harleen (2020, Stjepan Sejic)

This comic made me fall in love with Harley, okay? EVERYTHING about this comic is amazing, aaaahhhhh.

This comic tells us who Harley Quinn was as Harleen Quinzel, a psychiatrist in Gotham.

Her encounter with the Joker is very well done, and the development of their relationship, the “dangerous” aspect and playing with boundaries (the fact that she is in a relationship with one of her patients) and how all of this makes her doubt herself, while feeling like the one who could help the Joker and take care of him, is very well done here. (Honorable mention for the panels featuring Harleen as Harley Quinn—I really like them.)

Harley Quinn Black + White + Red (2021, multi auteurs)

What I love about this comic is that it's full of different stories and styles ^^ I really like it! The challenge of using only three colors to tell a story about Harley Quinn is a brilliant idea, I think, and what's more, we get to see our dear Harley with different features :)

Harleen (2021, Amanda Conner, Jimmy Palmiotti)

Unlike in the Harleen comic, here Harley is completely emancipated from the Joker. It was the first comic I ever bought (but I read it well after Harleen, oops), and I thought it was really cool with its graphic style and bright colors.

She's super funny and full of life, and we even get a glimpse of her relationship with Ivy. 

Birds of Prey (2021, Cathy Yan)

I can't really say that I've seen both Suicide Squad movies, but I can still see what Harley is like in them! This movie is also about Harley's emancipation, haha, and Margot Robbie is an actress who fits the character well ^^

And I think that's why I love Harley Quinn: she's a character whose designs attract and fascinate me. I love her personality, I love her story, I love discovering facts about her, making edits, reading comics, and watching movies.
