I'm often aware in my dreams that I am dreaming, But every time I try to take control my brain seems to fight back against me and not let me change anything. I was exasperated in my dream last night because dream me is so sick of dreaming about High School; I literally yelled at my brain about not giving me more interesting dreams lol. I wonder if anyone else struggles this way, Or did struggle and has tips about how to take control in your dreams?

I always could lucid dream easy even as a kid. I can't choose before go to sleep what I will dream. But ones I am in the dream I can choose how it will go, I can't change the universe but the play, the future of it, what will happen, who is there. It also away feel really real and like time works different, sometimes I wake up and I sleep 8 hours but it felt like I spend days in my dreaming. Sometimes I start a dream and weeks or months later I keep dream where I left before, like episodes of a show. Or a game and you choose how the story should go. I also can go back if I don't like how it turn out and then choose a other option. Or stay in the time but add things to the past story and they just update to the now one without redrema it.

Sorry for my bad english. In lucid dreams, the things happen, that you expect and not those you want. When I understood that, it really helped me to control my dreams.
Thank you for the tip!
