Release.
"Death!"
The man cry's out, kneeling injured in a pool of mud and sorrow,
"Take me now, just as you've taken everything else!".
A deafening silence responds, only the wind between trees whispering incoherent airy mumblings.
Suddenly, a young man appears before him.
"I am death. I've heard your cries."
Tears well in his eyes, looking up at this boy who looks barely grown.
"Then take me, end this pain."
A single tear gently falls down the cheek of the young man.
"As you wish, rest well sir."
Death says coldly. Placing his hands on the mans shoulders, he lays him down gently on his back.
With a quick swipe of his hand over the man's face, life drains from him, leaving his skin pale and cold.
"Goodbye."
