A new longipterygidae (Enantiornithes) has been described frome the chinese Jiufotang Formation.
Chromeornis funkyi (that's the name of the new genra) is been datated to Early Cretaceous (Aptian) and, due the fully ossified sternum, is possible to deteriìminate the near full maturity of the individual. Worthy of mention are the gastroliths foundend in the lower part of the digestive system: a novelty for this group.
