Thoughts on Hazbin Hotel S2 (spoilers)

well one of the things i really liked was the overall plot of the season and how it builds up!!! i really liked how it feels like everything is going down the path of a bigger event, culminating in the last episode with the Vox celebration and all. it was pretty cool imo

i liked how they also took a couple of episodes to give some characters their background stories and how they got in hell in the first place, and im very VERY grateful for the focus on Vox's character bcuz he's such an interesting...tv demon? anyways pretty good imo he was a good villain. of course, not the super powerful kind of villain who just 1v1 every character, but i feel like since he was a cult leader if fits better for his character to have to manipulate to be powerful. and the way it pays out with Alastor manipulating him since the deal was so cool!!

one thing i also really liked was how they gave other characters more screentime (as well as adding screentime for Baxter too). specially Alastor having more screentime was pretty cool, since the s1 focused more on the hotel and well the entire premise of it all. (maybe im wrong with some of my takes tho i watched s1 when it came out and it was kind of a long time ago n my memory sucks)... although the season was mostly focusing on the villains (the Vees) i think its pretty good tbh it was really interesting

well....i know this might sound crazy but i think theres just too many songs this season. dont get me wrong theyre all pretty good, but i feel like its kind of overwhelming. i feel like having 2-3-4 songs every episode its too much. i know its supposed to be a musical series but eh i just dont really like it, also some songs just feel like they come out from nowhere. like when Lute goes to Adam's room and she starts singing, i thought she would likestart talking about her plans or crying abt Adam or something but she just started singing lolz. i guess she did tell her planes, but it kinda threw me off a little bit tbh. also the Niffty song too, it wasnt really needed in my opinion. tho i gotta say they still have awesome songs!!! specially Vox's songs omg so good!!

also i didnt like how Heaven was kind of stupid when it came to show that Sir Pentious reached redemption. they couldve literally avoided war so much earlier byjust idk taking a photo of him or something lmao. at least war was stopped (for now)

ANGEL X HUSK IS REAL!!!! BEST PART OF SEASON 2 #YAY
