I hooked up an old dvd player into my tv and now ive been thrifting/ordering DVDs of shows and flicks i find interesting, i found TED yesterday and grinned like an idiot.
I also never knew i had a banned episode of spongebob in one of my childhood DVDs, "Midlife crustacean" i think the episodes called, its banned on all streaming services so i guess i got that over prime streaming lolzz.
Its nice to watch things that dont bother u with ads randomly throughout the film/show, i hate how intrusive ads are nowadays, can't even pause a youtube video on my TV without an ad appearing, so its nice to sorta take it back, dammit its peaceful.
I ordered full series DVDs of old 90s cartoons i like like The Crittic, Duckman, and Daria, Having the full seasons on DVD just on my own, no extra fees or ads or wifi bugs like why did we grow so dependent on EVERYTHING needing wifi, or an app, But im just rambling at this point.

me tooo!!! it's especially nice getting a box set for a tv show and being able to binge episode after episode without any ads. the quality is the best too! now, all the streaming services are downgrading the video quality of their shows to save money. so lame! it's also nice knowing that i can watch my favorite show without worrying if they'll move it to a different streaming platform or just delete it entirely.
