Badu's recurring dream is mine aswell

Watching back Erykah Badu's performance at the North Sea Jazz Festival filled me with life and fascination. Besides her being a generational artist, creative and performer, she's also intuitive and spiritual. She recounted a dream, a recurring one, she had: For everyone to freely express themselves and live out their lives without regard to the opinion of others. Hearing this dream of hers prompted me to write this blog as it has also been a thought and desire of mine for more people to just be themselves. When you look around, there is just so much conformity. Copy and paste looks, interests and opinions. When will we break free of this hive mentality and embrace individuality? I mean that's prob the most beautiful thing about being human, the fact that no one person is alike, so why do we try so hard to be like one another and fit this mold? 

Be yourself! Break the mold!!!!
