In the cold, when you are lighting a fire
It's not actually to be bundled to be warm.
When you are shielded from the fire,
You cannot feel its warmth.
You shed the bundles of warmth in order to continue the increase of temperature.
At least
Here,
Where the chills do not bite as hard as the flames.
But, as that is where I reside, I may offer no support in secondary conditions.
Our December does chill, but it does not freeze.
There are differences
But still,
The flame will only be hot if you feel it.
