So, I don't usually watch the game awards, or any awards shows for that matter. Usually I will see any new announcements after the fact! However, during this year's game awards, I suddenly got a flood of notifications on basically everything all at once, confirming that there's a new Megaman game being made!
If you are just getting to know me, Megaman is a very serious special interest of mine. I've been into it since high school! And while it kind of went dormant when the series decided to focus on gacha slop for a while, my love for the franchise and characters never went away. I was so overjoyed when I heard we are getting a new game, and look forward to playing it when it comes out!
I am also noticing a lot of my favourite things that have been long since dormant are making some sort of comeback all of a sudden. Aside from a new Megaman game, Prozzak is supposed to announce something next month, and Home Movies even returned to Adult Swim's lineup for the first time since the pandemic!

It's not just you, the fandom is smaller. At some of the outreach programs I help with, kids only know Megaman because of smash bros, so Dual Override might be their first ever Megaman game!
I mainly love the classic and battle network series, but I also enjoy X and legends! It's great to meet you!
