Rewatched the into spiderverse movie and it made me realize again how much i love that movie

1)  The animation is literally top tier. Everything from the lighting, to the uniquely low framerate, to the usage of classic comic book art tropes makes it so good (I actually watched a video months ago where some of the animators mentioned how they used different framerate to showcase how they're from different universes 🤤)

2) "My husband, Peter Parker, was an ordinary person. He always said that it could be anyone behind the mask. He was just the kid who happened to get bit. He didn't ask for his powers. But he chose to be Spider-Man... My favorite thing about Peter is that he made us each feel powerful. We all have powers of one kind or the other, and in our own way we are all Spider-Man. And we are all counting on you." 🗣🗣🔥🔥🔥🔥

3) The primary theme of the movie being how spiderman always finds a way to get back up (that's literally Peter B. Parker's character arc through the entire movie after all)

4) Miles is literally so adorkable and him trying to flirt with Gwen 🥹🥹🥹🥹 like that's my son (I say as if he isn't 1 year younger than me)

5) I always get a bit sad when Fisk's backstory comes up. It seems that he really loved his family (he probably wouldn't endanger the entire multiverse if their death didn't impact him)

6) Spider-Man Noir is literally the goat (i always finds the scene where he tries to solve the rubik's cube but he doesn't cause other besides white, gray and black doesn't exist in his universe genius. Also him being voiced nicolas cage makes his character so much better)

7) All of the spider gang is so interesting in general so it's pretty sad how we don't get to see more of their character 😔 (thankfully we get more Gwen moments in the second movie)

8) Uncle Aaron may be part of the villains and tried to kill Miles on several occasions but his relationship with Miles before all of this is very heart warming. It makes his death even more tragic if you consider how he was one of the only people who appreciated his art (also because he actually doesn't want to kill Miles after he discovers he's behind the mask)

9) Miles's relationship with his dad is so relatable (he's just like me frfr)

10) I forgot mentioning the peak soundtrack (sunflower was actually my most played song in 2023 btw :D)

11) Doctor Ock is also very neat (just like spiderman noir, her being voiced by the amazing Kathryn hahn definitely makes her so much better). The scene where Peter B tries to distract her and she kinda chains him on this chair to investigate him is so 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺

12) I love the versions of Mary Jane and Aunt May sm in this movie (especially considering how badly written Mary Jane is in the Tobey maguire movies). Aunt May being so badass is definitely a thing i haven't seen in other versions of the spideeman franchise but It's quite a cool thing to change about her character 

13) GWEN 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤😍😍😍😍😍 (i don't have to say anything else I hope)

14) the action scenes have such a cool animation 

15) Miguel O'Hara's cameo in the end 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 and the spiderman pointing meme 🤣🤣🤣🤣

16) the parallels and contrasts between Peter b parker and the og Peter Parker from Miles's universe are so genius (there's this moment in Peter b introduction where he says how his investments failed while the other Peter has basically made his spiderman identity a succesful brand. Also Peter b being the one to actually teach miles to do spiderman things just like peter I promised to do beforw he got killed 🥺🥺🥺)

In conclusion I think Spider-Man Into the spiderverse is very peak fiction and one of the best animated movies of the 10'. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk
